HOW TO BECOME A DRUG INSPECTOR:


                                   A drug inspector is

selected on the basis of performance in

the  common written exam and personal

interview taken by various departments

of state and union government .Written

exam basically consists of the questions

related to the pharmacy and general

knowledge. You can follow some steps to

reach your goal of becoming a drug

inspector and the very first step is to

pass your 12th class with physics

chemistry and biology as main subject

post 12th class you need to take some

kind of entrance exam taken by various

state governments and pharmacy

institutes for providing admission

to Bachelor of pharmacy course (B

pharmacy course ).             

   The examination consists of objective

multiple choice type of questions from

the relevant subjects and are usually

held in the month of May to June the

result of these examinations are

generally out by June July. after

completing this four years bachelor's

degree course you become eligible to

appear in the common test taken by

various state Public Service Commission

and Union Public Service Commission for

the recruitment to the post of drug

inspector in various departments you may

after clearing entrance  exams like Gpad as

some central government departments may

ask for master's degree in the relevant

field to be eligible for becoming a drug

inspector.

SYLLABUS:

 The syllabus and the pattern

of written examination for drug

inspector post may vary from state to

state and department to Department

however the paper usually consists of

two papers with 250 marks which includes

200 marks for pharmacy having hundred

multiple-choice questions which has to

be completed in two hours and 50 marks

for  general knowledge having 50 multiple

choice questions. and this paper has to

the same should be answered in English

only.

 Drug inspector exam usually

consists of questions from forensic

pharmacy ,manufacturing pharmacy,

pharmacology ,medicinal chemistry,

hospital and clinical pharmacy and 
 
Pharmaceutics and human anatomy and

physiology and health education.

Questions from knowledge of current

events and matters of everyday

observation and experience in the

scientific aspects of life as may be

expected of an educated person are also

asked in the general paper .

Primary duties of a drug inspector

include inspection of all such business

establishments that are engaged in the

production, storage and sale of food
