M.PHARMACY

             MASTER OF PHARMACY 


INTRODUCTION:

                                          Pharmacist who has 

 in-depth knowledge of each and

every medicine and life-saving drug. A

pharmacist do play an important role in

the well-being of patients and a

patient's do best when pharmacists are

part of their healthcare teams because

pharmacists are the medication

specialist .If you want to be at your

best in your profession and you need to

be well equipped with the knowledge of

your field and having a master's degree

in pharmacy can be the best

qualification to have in-depth knowledge

of the field of pharmacy .Pharmacy is 

the branch of the Health Sciences

dealing with preparation dispensing and

proper utilization of drugs.


MASTER OF PHARMACY:



                            Master of pharmacy is a

postgraduate academic degree which is

awarded for a course or program in the

medical field of pharmacy .

The duration of master's degree in

pharmacy is two years.The are many

 branches like pharmaceutics,

 pharmaceutical analysis, pharmaceutial

 organic chemistry, pharmacology and etc...


ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

                                   Bachelor degree in

 pharmaceutial sciences is the eligibility 

criteria to do master degree.50 percentage 

of marks needed to eligible for doing master 

degree.


GPAT:



          Graduate pharmacy aptitude test is a

 national level entrance exam for entry 

into the master of pharmacy degree.This

 test was conducted every year by the AICTE 

(All India Council For Technical Education).

The final year Students are also eligible 

for appearing for the GPAT examination.

The candidate must be a indian citizen.


NIPER:

(National Institute Of Pharmaceutial Education And Research)

                To apply for NIPER exam the 

candidates must complete their with 

60 percentage of marks or CGPA 6.75 marks 

is essential.The relaxation in the above

 marks for some category (ST/SC).In another

IMPORTANCE OF M.PHARMACY:



                            M.Pharm is mostly related to

 the usage and safety of drugs and other

 pharmaceutical products. It has a crucial

 role to play in healthcare and medical

 sciences.Comparing to bachelor of

 pharmacy ,master of pharmacy have much

CONCLUSION:

                       All the students who wants to 

do  master degree in pharmacy must

 prepare for the entrance exam like GPAT 

and NIPER. M.pharmacist have much more 

value than b.pharmacist. Some

 pharmaceutical company gives much

 importance to the M.pharmacist. In future
