INTRODUCTION:

                            Many of the  pharmacy professional persons are even may not be know about the basics of their field ,here below I tell about some of the basic about Pharma field .Inthis post I give only some information about Pharma field as pharmacy basics 1 and after that I will create some more post about Pharma basic in future....


FATHER OF PHARMACY:(father of Indian pharmacy)

          

         Mahadeva Lal Schroff 




Mahadeva Lal Schroff (1902–1971) as a hero who has nurtured pharmacy in India.

He was born on March 6, 1902, in Bihar, he passed the intermediate exam in 1920. The most interesting fact is that he first did engineering courses.

He went to the United States for higher studies. He graduated in chemical engineering  and got arts degree with honors in chemistry. He took several chemistry courses,but he found no interest in chemistry courses and he trun it to pharamcy  course, in which chemistry was quite involved throughout the course. In 1937, he eventually modified the pharmacy graduation course by extending it to 3 years at BHU for the first time, and later in 1940 also introduced a master's degree in pharmacy which was a greatest and good achievement. He edited the first magazine "Indian Pharmacist" and directed it for almost 10 years.In bengal pharmaceutial association he bacome president in that association.He later became chairman of the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). He also first edited the Indian Journal of Pharmaceutical Education. It was the pillar behind such a solid foundation of pharmaceutial scinences.

 

FIRST HOSPITAL PHARMACIST:


             Jonathan Roberts






First Hospital Pharmacist was Jonathan Roberts; but it was his successor, John Morgan, whose practice as a hospital pharmacist (1755-56), and whose impact upon Pharmacy and Medicine influenced changes that were to become of importance to the development of professional pharmacy in North America.

 

Conclusion:

                 Pharmacy was one of the developed filed all over the world it has huge wide variety of courses in it ,now a days the pharamcy graduate student are making money and given their best to  health care fields...
